Kindred is proud to sponsor the annual Art and Poetry contest. This contest allows hospital patients and nursing center residents to tap into their creativity and submit their entries for national judging.
Any resident or patient may participate and many do, thanks to the efforts and ingenuity of our activities directors and recreational therapists. This particular collection of winning entries represents the diverse, collective imagination of our Kindred family and testifies to the creativity that exists within all of us.
We believe there is truth in the adage "art reflects life" and feel this book mirrors the quality lifestyle we promote in our hospitals and nursing centers nationwide.
This gallery includes winners, chosen by judges based on how well the artist or poet represented a certain style or technique. We commend everyone who participated in this program for making the effort and for being an important part of our history.
