Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers and Assisted Living Facilities Receive AHCA Quality Awards
The following 28 Kindred nursing and rehabilitation centers and three assisted living facilities (ALF) are recipients of the 2009 AHCA/NCAL Step I Quality Award. Applicants who receive the Step I award are able to describe their mission, characteristics, and key challenges and recognize the relationship of these factors in their ability to achieve performance improvement. Step I recognizes that the nursing center or ALF has developed a foundation to begin a journey of continuous quality improvement. We congratulate each of our Kindred nursing centers and assisted living facilities. Since 2003, 182 nursing centers and three assisted living facilities have received the Step I award. Ten nursing centers have gone on to receive the Step II Quality Award.
AHCA/NCAL received 664 Step I 2009 applications from across the nation. We can be proud 28 Kindred nursing centers and three Kindred assisted living facilities are recipients of the award. They are:
