    PointClickCare (PCC) is Kindred Healthcare’s cloud-based medical record system used by our nursing and rehabilitation centers. PCC automates several clinical processes and removes the manual activities normally associated with delivering and documenting care. This allows for more quality time to be spent with our patients. Medication errors are also diminished using PCC’s electronic medication administration capabilities.

    Facility management also benefit from PCC, providing easy oversight of clinical processes through dashboards. Reporting is available at a facility, district, regional or corporate level.

    PCC is available to clinical staff throughout the facility using a Computer-On-Wheels (COW) as well as installed touchscreen kiosks. PCC is currently installed in over 100 of our facilities with deployment continuing to expand in 2014.
