LOUISVILLE, Ky. (December 21, 2020) – Kindred Healthcare, LLC (“Kindred” or the “Company”) today announced the appointment of Mike Warrington, Chief Operating Officer of the Hospital Division, as President of Kindred’s Hospital Division, effective immediately. Kindred’s Hospital Division includes 64 long-term acute care (“LTAC”) hospitals in 16 states with more than 5,000 licensed beds and five hospital-based sub-acute units.
As Chief Operating Officer of the Hospital Division since 2016, Mr. Warrington helped enhance operational performance across Kindred’s portfolio of LTAC hospitals. He joined Kindred in 2009, and in addition to his COO role, he has led operational efforts in key markets such as California, Texas, and Florida. He also oversaw the integration of several hospitals into the Kindred organization and helped develop partnerships with prominent acute care systems. He previously served as Senior Vice President of the Southeast Region of the Hospital Division. Prior to joining Kindred, Mr. Warrington served as Vice President for Concentra for five years.
