PASSAIC, NEW JERSEY – April 22, 2021 – Kindred Hospital East New Jersey has official opened. Kindred Hospital East New Jersey is a state-of-the-art, 25-bed long-term acute care hospital, co-located on the 5th floor of St. Mary’s General Hospital, a community-based tertiary medical center, at 350 Boulevard in East New Jersey.
Kindred hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its official grand opening on Wednesday, April 21, and included hospital leadership and physicians.
The hospitals provides easy access to transit, bus and train lines, and major highways, including I-95. The location is also close to downtown Manhattan. The hospital serves Passaic County. Kindred Hospital East New Jersey was established in 2006 in Wayne and has a long history of success in the market.
Kindred Hospital East New Jersey offers the same in-depth care patients would receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended period of time needed for recovery. The hospital partners with patients’ physicians and offers 24-hour clinical care seven days a week to start the journey to wellness.
