Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey. For our employees in the impacted areas, below is an overview of resources that are available to you from Kindred and other sources.

Kindred Assistance

Kindred Employee Assistance Line for Those Impacted by Hurricane Harvey

Kindred continues to closely monitor the situation in Texas and the Gulf Coast region following the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. At this time, the safety of our employees is our primary concern.

Kindred has established a toll-free Employee Assistance Line at 1.866.KINDRED (1.866.546.3733) to assist employees who were impacted by Harvey. We encourage all Kindred employees who are dealing with challenges related to the storm and its aftermath to call the hotline so we can ensure you are safe, connect you with all available resources, and help you get the support you need during this difficult time. The line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The HOPE Fund

The HOPE Fund was designed to provide financial assistance to employees with immediate needs following natural disasters and other challenging situations. For immediate assistance, please call the Employee Assistance Line at 1.866.546.3733.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Available for emotional, psychological and other support. All services are free for Kindred employees, confidential and accessible 24 hours a day. The EAP can provide immediate help during this crisis when your emotional needs might reach a critical point. For more information, call 1.800.854.1446 (or 1.877.858.2147 for Spanish).   • Address of damaged property
  • Mailing address
  • Telephone number
  • Insurance information—please contact insurance company and file a claim prior to registering for assistance
  • Annual household income

  • Bank routing and account numbers for direct deposit
