Inpatient hospitalization is a short term (10 to 14 days on average), 24-hour intensive treatment program provided in a safe and secure hospital setting. It includes 24-hour nursing care and daily provider visits that are not available on an outpatient basis.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is a therapeutic, recovery focused, group program held in a safe environment, providing therapy and ongoing symptom management tools. Outpatient is typically held for a few hours a day, three days per week, at the hospital.
