Visitor Information

Telephones

Telephones are provided in each room, except in the Intensive Care Unit, so that you may speak to your loved one at any time. Calls may be placed and answered at all times. When dialing from in the room, to make a local call, press 9 and then dial the phone number. Long distance and toll calls can be made by using a calling card; they cannot be charged to your room. If you have any questions or need assistance, please dial “0” to reach the hospital operator.

Television

A television is provided each room, we just asked to please keep the volume low and turn off the set when it is not in use in consideration of other patients and their guests.

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is open 24 hours a day and provides complimentary coffee. Lunch is served for families and staff from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Vending machines may also be found in the cafeteria and are available around the clock.

While visiting, you may eat in your loved one’s rooms with them. You are welcome to purchase food from the cafeteria or bring food in. For any questions regarding meals, contact food services at ext. 5665.

Parking and Security

Free visitor parking is provided in designated areas of the hospital lot, including spaces for handicapped parking. While we strive to keep all areas of the hospital secure we are not responsible for vehicle damage, fire or theft while parked in the hospital lot.

After 9 p.m., all doors are locked; please use doorbell located at the front to reach a team member after hours.

Family Involvement

You may meet with you loved one’s clinical team at patient conferences, arranged to discuss a loved one’s current condition, progress to date and to answer any questions. To schedule a conference time, please call case management at extension 5574.
