Visitor Information

Your family and friends are welcome to visit during visiting hours from 12 – 8 p.m. Supervised, well-behaved children over the age of 12 may visit as well. Visitation by children age 12 and under is discouraged except in special circumstances. Visitors with infections should be visiting.

Infection control is of the utmost importance for our patients. Visitors to patients in isolation will be expected to follow good hand washing technique and wear the proper attire supervised by the nursing staff. It is recommended that only two persons visit a patient at one time. Some of our units have special visiting hours because of the critical nature of the care being given and the number of visitors may be restricted at the discretion of the charge nurse. Please follow directions on all caution signs located within the hospital.

We recommend immediate family only.  If you require extended family visitation, please limit the number in the room due to the critical nature of the care being given. We provide waiting areas for family and friends.

Parking and Security

Visitor parking at our hospital is free of charge. We have designated some locations for specific personnel. Our security or other personnel are available to escort you and your visitors to your vehicle. Just dial the operator and ask for an escort.

Public restrooms are located throughout the hospital. Because patient doors do not lock, visitors should use only public restrooms to ensure privacy.

Food and Nutrition Services

Patient Meals

Good nutrition plays an important role in your health and recovery process. The Food Services Department wants to ensure your loved one receives a balanced meal of their choice. Your loved ones menu is diet specific and prepared by our culinary staff and registered dietitians. Please inform the caregiver of food related allergies or other specific dietary preferences. If there are any questions about our menu, please let the nurse know.

Guest Trays

Where available, guest trays can be requested with two hours advance notice. There may be a nominal charge for a guest tray and a limit of one per patient meal. Please speak with the nurse.

Vending Machines

Vending machines are accessible 24 hours a day in the lobby of our hospital.
