Kindred at Home Announces New Additions to Senior Leadership Team with Two C-Level Appointments

[ATLANTA, GA, July 17, 2019] Kindred at Home, the nation’s largest home health, hospice and community care provider, today announced that Heather O’Sullivan and Mark Reid have joined the company as Chief Clinical Innovations Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer, respectively. These candidates complete the full leadership team of the company as it completes its separation from Kindred Healthcare.

In her role, O’Sullivan will provide strategic clinical leadership and direction to the organization, developing, implementing, and advancing Kindred at Home’s patient-centered care delivery models. She will set the clinical strategy and vision for the organization and oversee clinical analytics. O’Sullivan most recently served as Chief Clinical Officer with naviHealth. She has over two decades of experience in senior health care executive leadership, leading and directing clinical operations and designing clinical services models. Her distinctive background combines direct clinical experience as a geriatric nurse practitioner and senior leadership roles in clinical operations at the nation’s leading at-risk post-acute care organizations, health plans, and home healthcare organizations.

Mark Reid, CHRO, will focus on continuing the integration of business functions, creating a high performing leadership team and implementing a best in class employee experience for the 50,000 people at Kindred at Home. His primary objective is to position Kindred at Home as an employer of choice that matches the best talent to the needs of our patients and their families.

Reid brings more than thirty years of strategic human resources leadership to the role, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of USAA. He has extensive experience with enterprise-level HR transformations of manufacturing, financial services, information services, and consumer products companies, focusing on reducing employee turnover, increasing employee engagement and creating an improved employee experience overall.

“We’re thrilled to have Heather and Mark join our organization. They both bring fresh thinking and will drive innovation in both our clinical care delivery and our employee experience as we continue to build a world class organization. They are joining an already successful team at the perfect time. With their leadership we will continue to grow and deliver even better outcomes to our patients,” said David Causby, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kindred at Home.
