What to Expect

Becoming a Kindred House Calls Patient

Do you have physical difficulty getting to the doctor’s office?

Do friends or family members take time off work to help you get to the doctor’s office?

Is a one-hour wait to see the doctor painful or uncomfortable?

Kindred House Calls is the answer to an easier, more comfortable medical experience. We will be your primary care physician or coordinating specialist, or we will contact your present doctor after each visit.

Our providers are equipped to perform any services normally conducted in a medical office:

  • Physical examination and diagnosis
  • Monitoring long-term treatment of existing conditions such as diabetes, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hypertension
  • Labs
  • Diagnostics

We accept Medicare and most major insurance plans and we process your insurance claims for you.

An on-call practitioner is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and a triage nurse is available via phone from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you need to change your home setting – by moving into an assisted living community, for instance – we can assist with the transition and help continue the care.
