Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Musculoskeletal disorders and injuries can affect your daily life and ability to do the things you love. Our orthopedic rehabilitation is a doctor-supervised program designed to help your recovery with impairments or disabilities due to disease, trauma or other issues related to muscles, bones, joints and nerves.

Some examples:

  • Bone fractures
  • Joint replacements
  • Spinal injuries
  • Arthritis

It is important to treat any physical debility with inpatient therapy, because doing so may increase the chances that you can return to a more normal life. Orthopedic rehabilitation may improve abilities, reduce symptoms and restore your independence.

You may notice you have difficulty moving freely, speaking, swallowing, breathing or learning. Our care is designed to help you improve your abilities and return to a more normal life.

We design a program focused on the specific areas that will help you return to your normal daily activities, including improvements in:

STROKE REHABILITATION

Our inpatient rehabilitation program has been designed by experienced orthopedic rehab experts to specifically help your improvement in all of these areas. Our goal is to help you achieve the best recovery possible for your individual situation so that you can get back to a more normal daily routine as soon as possible.

When you enter our inpatient rehab unit, your personalized plan will be designed to maximize your comfort and speed on your way to recovery. Your program will include:

  • Dedicated, experienced team of doctors, nurses and physical and occupational therapists
  • Dedicated physical rehabilitation unit
  • The latest in treatment technology
  • Programs to help you smoothly transition back home or to your next level of care
  • A multi-purpose lounge for you to enjoy throughout the day
  • Education and training for you and your loved ones

Therapy is given typically for a minimum of three hours each day, at least five days a week, depending on your condition. Therapy can take place in individual and group settings, and sessions are scheduled for various times throughout the day.

We encourage your loved ones to be part of your rehabilitation program, including coming in to offer encouragement and observe therapy sessions. With your permission, family members are also welcome to come by just to talk with staff and ask any questions they may have about your progress.
