What is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital?

Mar 14, 2017, 17:17 PM

Care in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital is designed to help when you have been impaired by an injury or illness and your physician determines that you are medically stable and physically able to begin a comprehensive rehabilitation program consisting of at least three hours of therapy a day, five days a week.

Under our care, you will receive daily physician oversight, more than two types of therapy and 24-hour nursing care. We are committed to providing compassionate care, giving you the dignity and respect you need on your journey to recovery.

You might be referred to one of our hospitals because your physician believes you could benefit from specialized intense rehabilitation rather than receiving a lower level of care, such as in a skilled nursing facility. All of our therapy programs are customized for your unique abilities, tolerance for therapy and desired outcome.
