LETTER FROM THE CEO
Dear Executive Fellow Candidate:
As you know, Kindred is the nation’s largest fully-diversified post-acute provider. Our national presence and full continuum of integrated care locations in local communities enables patients to access the right care in the right setting to support recovery and wellness. Our goal is to provide care where and when people need it through comprehensive patient-centered care management – this is how we Continue the Care.
Kindred’s Executive Fellow Program is a very selective program that provides across-the-board training and development for individuals seeking leadership careers in post acute care. Fellows gain an in-depth understanding of Kindred’s strategy and an understanding of the clinical and administrative functions in settings across our care continuum. In addition to leadership and operational training, you will experience hands-on learning with a full immersion through rotations in our facilities in order to build the skills for successful post acute care administration.
Following a structured leadership curriculum and rotation in the first year, Fellows are given the opportunity to align their professional goals with organizational opportunities.
- I have a personal commitment to this program, and the Kindred leadership team share in my support for the personal and professional development of our Executive Fellows. I believe there are a few core elements that set this program apart from other fellowship opportunities in post-acute care: The program provides a challenging learning environment and progressively prepares them for increasing levels of responsibilities
- The three week leadership academy focuses on individual leadership, team leadership, and a comprehensive business case study
- The program has a strong track record of success with previous Fellows moving up into significant leadership roles both inside and outside of the organization.
Should you have any questions about the program, I welcome you to contact our Talent Management team
